This looks to be another great year for Harvest Extravaganza. One of the biggest changes to this year's event is the time change. We've moved the event to Saturday so that with an earlier time, from 3-5 pm, we won't have to worry about darkness. In previous years the second half of the event has been done under the lights; this year the entire event will be done in the sunshine!

A Very Successful Year

Another extremely successful year with this event has come and gone. Firstly, we say thank you to everyone in our community who came out to Harvest Fields to participate. It is our pleasure to serve you and help create a fun and safe environment for your family. Second, we say thank you to our volunteers. It takes more than just a few volunteers to make this a success and we estimate that we had over a hundred people involved from start to finish. So THANK YOU again for another great year!

It's Coming Fast! (October 28, 6-8pm)

We haven't updated the blog in a while, but that doesn't mean we haven't been working. But preparations are underway, and we're gearing up for this year's event! Our 2011 Harvest Extravaganza will be Friday, October 28 from 6-8 pm. As usual, we're featuring a full line of activities for the family:

Trunk-R-Treat
A fun and safe alternative to going house to house. Kids can get their candy fix from a collection of cleverly decorated car trunks.

Carnival Games
These fun games for a variety of ages are sure to include pumpkin bowling, memory challenges, ring tosses, face painting and more. Not to mention the candy prizes.

Hayrides
The entire family can take a leisurely hayride through the rolling hills of Harvest Fields and enjoy the fall colors.

Bounce Inflatables & Playground
A sure hit for the kids, especially after eating a few pieces of candy. These will be open to the kids for the duration of the event, and are sure to help burn off some excess sugar.

Food
From hot chocolate, to popcorn, to hot dogs, we're happy to offer food to all attenders while supplies last. Did we mention its free?!

A great year!

We had an awesome time this friday at Harvest Extravaganza. Not only did we have perfect weather this year for the event, we had record breaking participation this year with something like 1,800 people. We want to thank everyone who came out and participated. We hope you had a fun time with your family and we look forward to serving you in the future. New Stuff This Year!

We've decided to introduce something new to Harvest Extravaganza this year...prizes! We'll have several giveaways this year, one of which will be a brand new Digital Camera.

How can you win? Upon your entry to our event you'll receive an information card that tells all about the event. This card will also tell you how you can sign up for the prizes. Prize winners will be posted on our blog the following day!

Harvest Extravaganza 2010

The dates have been set, the planning has begun! In just 3 weeks Harvest Extravaganza will be here! This year will be our 7th Annual event, and we're expecting numbers near last years estimated 1,100 people in attendance. If you haven't been a part of this event in the past you've missed out! So grab your costumes and your candy containers and come on out to Harvest Fields!
