Harvest Extravaganza is a fall event designed for families in the Niles area. It is an outdoor event located at Harvest Fields, and kids are encouraged to wear costumes and collect as much candy as possible. The event features a worry free alternative to going house to house called Trunk-R-Treat, where kids can get their candy fix from a collection of cleverly decorated cars. Some other great attractions include a hayride that treks through colorful trees and rolling pasture, a inflatable bounce house where kids can be rowdy, carnival games with more candy prizes, and a food tent stocked with hot dogs, popcorn and beverages.
You'd probably expect a cover charge at an event like this, or at least a price for concessions. But this event is made completely free to you by First Missionary Church. Why? We're really just trying to create a fun family environment for our community. We are invested in our community in many ways, and this is just one way for us to let people know we are here and that we care about them.
